WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 27, 2008 - NEW L.S.Underground ALBUM COMING!
Michael has recorded a new L.S. Underground record with Josh Lory, Jim Chaffin from the Crucified, Matt Biggers, Daniel Sonner and others. It has been in Michael's heart and mind to create an album for US troops, especially those returning from combat. Upon the troops' return, some have great difficulty assimilating back into life at home. This record, about PTSD (Post-traumatic Stress Disorder) or PTSS (Post-traumatic Stress Syndrome) is about helping soldiers in distress to live one more day. Michael feels this is the most important record he has done since "This Is the Healing".
Michael is offering a presale order until October 15 for those who would like to financially help finish and manufacture this album. For $12.00 you will immediately receive a photocopy of a few songs from his lyric book, signed and numbered (in pencil and pen), You will then receive the finished product following completion (around late October to early November). Michael will be performing at Lyzzard's Lounge in Prescott, AZ on Friday, November 24, 2006. The event is free and 21+, and will feature a lot of Aunt Bettys material. Michael will be selling a new CD/EP and will have new paintings for sale.
There is a new online gallery for artwork by Gerard. www.gerardartwork.com features an archive of Gerard artwork as well as pieces that are currently for sale. It is also open for submissions! If you have a Gerard painting, send a photo of it in an email with any details you would like to include and it will be added the gallery! This new gallery will be updated whenever the Paintings page of this site is.

Two new paintings are now posted. One is of Johnny Cash, being the second installment in the new "Portrait" series. The other is called "Bunge Boy" and is the first of a new series, simply entitled "8x10". This new series will feature collectible original pieces on a smaller sized medium.
JANUARY 5, 2004 - Happy New Year! New Paintings Added
Happy New Year from everybody here at www.MichaelKnott.com! To bring in the new year, Michael/Gerard is introducing a new series of artwork entitled "Portraits". These paintings will document some of Michael's major influences in regards to his music, artwork and personal life. Also new to the "for sale" gallery is a Serenity piece called "Music", a second addition to the newly introduced Swans series, as well as the latest in the "Eve" series.

Today Michael recorded a song on my (Jason) computer. He wrote it minutes before playing it live into a PC microphone. The song is called "Frequency". It can be downloaded from Michael's page on MP3.com.

June, 21 2003 - LOS ANGELES GIG AND CORNERSTONE INFO
Michael will be performing a rare LA concert on Saturday, June 28 at The Talking Stick. Email jcaleb@adelphia.net for more information. Also, Michael is performing (with band) at Cornerstone Festival in Bushnell, Il on Thursday, July 3 at 8:45pm on the Gallery Stage. He will also be performing songs with Squad 5-0 on Friday night as part of the Main Stage Cornerstone Birthday Bash.
